Magnetic Front/Rear/Side Shock Kit - Long Shaft (Pair)

This is a mini-version of our wildly successful magnetic centre shock that can used as a front or rear or side shock.

A magnet is used to create the dampening action of the shock instead of grease. This makes it more consistent, easier to adjust and has lower maintenance than a standard grease shock. 

This kit contains:

• 2 x Main Shock Body with preinstalled ball nut
• 2 x Preload nut
• 2 x O-ring for preload nut
• 2 x Threaded magnet holder with embedded magnet
• 2 x Spring Retainer
• 6 pairs of springs
• 2 x long steel shaft
• 2 x plastic 3.5mm ball socket
• 2 x 3.5mm ball nuts (you need to supply or reuse existing screws from your chassis or if needed substitute with a ball stud)
• 6 x shims

Standard features include:

• Adjust dampening action by adding or removing shims without needing to dissemble the shock
• Use a standard 4.5mm wheel nut driver to unscrew or screw in the magnet holder
• Can invert mounting if needed and chassis clearance allows it
• Ability to use springs other than what is included (e.g. Atomic springs, etc..)

This longer shaft version has been tested and compatible with the following chassis to date- we suggest to use original springs from the manufacturer:

Atomic BZ5 (FRONT only)

MC3 MR98 

Additionally, the long shaft version is the same length as a PN side shock (MR2990) so should fit for any application that uses that part.

it maybe required to trim/ cut the 3.5mm ball socket length to fit your application.

There is a shorter shaft kit available if needed.
